Mark Bobseine, Board of Advisors

Mark Bobseine’s business career has focused on providing software, information, consulting and research services to the financial services industry. As a leader and entrepreneur he has focused on delivering innovative products and services and building industry-leading companies.

Mr. Bobseine is the Founder of Cutter Associates, Inc. where was Chairman and CEO until its sale to private investors in 2012 (now owned by Nomura). Cutter Associates provides consulting, research and benchmarking to investment managers, specifically to improve investment processes, systems and data management. Cutter is the investment industry’s dominant and largest research provider with over 200 member firms across the globe, including asset managers, hedge funds, private equity funds, pension funds and sovereign wealth funds.

Prior to forming Cutter Associates, Mr. Bobseine was general manager of a $240 million division of JWP, Inc.; a Principal at Financial Management Systems (a provider of portfolio management systems) where he lead a turnaround and established FMS as a market leader. In addition, he founded Media Solutions, Inc. a provider of electronic storage capabilities for financial institutions. He began his career at DRI/McGraw-Hill where was a Director of the Financial Information Group.

Mr. Bobseine is an investor/partner in Converge Venture Partners which provides seed capital to information technology companies. In March 2014 he was Entrepreneur-In Residence at Dartmouth’s Tuck School.

He has a BA from Miami University and an MBA from The Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College.


Dirk Anderson, Board of Advisors

Dirk Anderson spent his career in the institution alternative asset management industry. He was recruited after graduation by the Traveler’s Pension Asset Management Division, before spending most of his career with a boutique firm specializing in the post-venture through mid-capitalization investable market segments. As a partner, Mr. Anderson served as Director of Marketing & Client Relations. In this role, he established the firm’s identity in the marketplace based on investment cycle and strategy, then targeted the appropriate markets to maximize the firm’s growth objectives. Mr. Anderson was tasked with communicating strategy, portfolio construction, and providing economic outlook to investment officers of the United State’s largest tax-exempt funds. He also served on the firm’s Sell Committee, Investment Policy Committee, and initiated the adoption of analytical software to enhance portfolio risk/return characteristics. Mr. Anderson also served on the firm’s Board of Directors. Since retiring, Mr. Anderson has provided consulting support for a small technology company, advising the CEO as the company explores growth opportunities in Europe. Mr. Anderson has received numerous awards throughout his career and has spoken publicly on the subject of growth investing.

Mr. Anderson holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California Santa Barbara, with a minor in Chemistry.

Brian Dapelo, Managing Director 

Brian Dapelo comes from a uniquely diverse professional background in Financial Services, Management Consulting, Academia, and Technology. Mr. Dapelo began his career as an Advisor at AIG Financial Advisors before moving into Trading and Portfolio Management at a boutique LATAM brokerage in San Diego. After proving his financial and investment management expertise, Mr. Dapelo then started his own investment advisory firm while finishing up his last term of graduate school, providing the firm’s clients with an 18% cumulative return within two years.

After proving his business and financial acumen, Mr. Dapelo was later recruited to join Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) as a Management Consultant in New York City. There, he advised major multinational corporations on strategy, operations and project management engagements, including a few that made international headlines.  After gaining some extremely valuable experience advising such high-profile client's, Mr. Dapelo saw an opportunity to help small to medium sized businesses streamline operations, plan projects, and reach strategic growth goals, so he continued management consulting as a freelancer. Mr. Dapelo’s freelance consulting eventually evolved into Monarch Point Consulting Group, which was founded in early 2018.

Outside of consulting, Mr. Dapelo also served as the Director of Development and Operations at the Palm Beach Tech Association and is a Professor of Business & Entrepreneurship at Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Mr. Dapelo received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California and his International MBA from Instituto de Empresa (IE) Business School in Madrid, Spain.


CORLEOUS KELLY, Senior ASsociate

Corleous Kelly is an Operations, Development, and Military Intelligence professional who works both in government and private sectors to enhance day-to-day operational processes and inside sales development efforts. Mr. Kelly knows the importance of building key relationships crafted to extend into the long term, and has garnered these types of relationships in early-stage startups, military intelligence, private equity, and corporate management consulting services. Mr. Kelly is a trained United State Marine Intelligence Analyst with nearly a decade of dedicated service to the nation with international experience in Europe, Africa, and South East Asia.

Mr. Kelly currently pursues post-secondary education in International Business and Entrepreneurship from Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida.


Caroline Patrick, Associate

Caroline Patrick is a specialist in business development and marketing. She is an active member of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and also the Women's Basketball Team at Palm Beach Atlantic University, where she is studying to earn her bachelor's degree in international business. In her spare time you can find her keeping company with friends and family or making trips to the beach.


Simari Turner, Associate

Simari Turner is a Business Development Associate at Monarch Point Consulting. At Palm Beach Atlantic University, Mr. Turner is a member of the Student Government Association (SGA), Men’s Cross Country & Track team member, and is involved in the planning committee for MOSAIC, a multicultural organization. Mr. Turner is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in International Business and in his spare time you can find him writing and composing music or indulging in extracurricular activities with his friends
